Description
Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Jackson, Michigan
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
- Shift: 1845-0715
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
- Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Experience in Supervisor roles
Role Overview
- Provides life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy
- Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for ICU and general practice patients
- Documents patient care and completes patient billing information
- Supervises and delegates to respiratory therapists, orients, externs, and students
