• 12-hour shifts

Job Summary

• Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Education

• Nursing Diploma, or
• ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred Education

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops or updates plans of care
• Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
• Prioritizes care for patients with complex problems
• Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required
• Supports patient and family education
• Promotes a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
