Surgical Tech
Location
Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 8 hours per day
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Call required: 36 hours per 6-week schedule, including every 5–6 weeks
Job Summary
Assists the surgical team during the intra-operative period, with primary focus on preparing and handling instrumentation and surgical equipment, and assisting the surgeon during procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification
- One of the following certifications:
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
- Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
- Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C)
- Certified Operating Room and Surgical Technician (CORST)
- Experience with neuro cases, including spine/crani
