• Days
• 12 hours per day
• 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive care unit experience
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)

Education

• Nursing Diploma, or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred Education

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing

Job Summary

Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and priorities, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Develop, update, and implement plans of care with the patient and family
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate care and support continuity
• Provide bedside point-of-care testing as required
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education
• Contribute to unit goals, performance improvement, and safe hospital environment
