Registered Nurse — Advanced Care

Night shift

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Stepdown experience
Intermediate Care experience
Experience with Epic

Experience / Skills

Trauma I experience
PCU experience
Stepdown experience
Intermediate Care experience
EPIC experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the nursing process
Complete patient assessments and develop plans of care
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care procedures
Maintain accurate nursing documentation
Monitor patients for seizure activity
Communicate with patients, families, and the care team
Support patient and employee safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents
Work with critical care and hospitalist teams for advanced care patients
