Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview

• Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Summary of Role

• Performs maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations and related diagnostic imaging under general or direct supervision.
• Assists with invasive diagnostic procedures and supports the supervising physician as needed.
• Reviews findings during the exam and provides preliminary information to the physician or referring OB provider.
• Provides standardization and training to residents on these exams.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• ARDMS registration
• Completion of a twelve-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent certificate program
