Medical Technologist

Location

Clinton Township, Michigan

Contract

19 weeks
40 hours per week
10-hour shifts
Night shift
Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

Medical Technologist experience within the last year
6 months of experience in a medical laboratory setting
Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, clinical laboratory sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology
BLS
Blood bank experience

Preferred Qualifications

Technologist-level certification from a nationally recognized agency such as ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW

Job Summary

Performs routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and other body fluids or specimens using manual techniques, laboratory instruments, and information systems
