Description

Registered Nurse - Mother Baby

Location

Neptune, New Jersey

Contract

13 weeks
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Every other weekend required
3 of 6 holidays required
No on-call requirement
No float requirement

Role Summary

Provides nursing care for mother-baby/postpartum patients, with more emphasis on postpartum than labor and delivery.
Evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized plans of care, performs therapeutic nursing interventions, and documents care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Post Partum (3 years of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN-Advanced Certification or C-EFM Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery experience
Antepartum experience

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
5 years of experience
