Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiology experience
Pulmonology experience
Trauma experience
Experience with Epic

Key Responsibilities

Provide care for acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients
Complete patient assessments and develop, implement, and update care plans
Administer medications and evaluate effects
Prepare patients for procedures, manage pain, perform IV venipuncture, administer blood, and monitor labs
Discharge patients and provide instructions for safe transition home
Document care in the EMR
Support team huddles, delegate appropriately, answer call lights, and ensure basic care needs are met
Communicate professionally and help resolve conflicts
