Required Qualifications

1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS
NIHSS

Job Details

Hospital-based clinical nursing role
Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
Care includes patients with complex problems
Performs bedside point-of-care testing as needed
Works with interdisciplinary teams
May function in a charge role or precept nearly every shift
Unit may care for both acute care and step-down neurological patients
Typical assignments may be up to 5 patients

Preferred Education

BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
