Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist

Location

• Johnson City, New York

Schedule

• Day shift
• 4x10-hour shifts
• 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• On call every other weekend

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New York
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or HSI or American Red Cross
• Associate's degree in radiologic technology
• IR experience
• Neurointerventional experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional and neurointerventional procedures under physician direction
• Provide technical and clinical assistance during sterile and non-sterile neurointerventional procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and protocols
• Follow radiation safety and other safety standards
• Instruct students and residents when needed
• Perform equipment quality assurance checks
• Help maintain supply inventory for IR and neuro IR procedures
• Review coding procedures for accurate billing
• Maintain patient and hospital confidentiality
• Follow hospital policies and incident reporting procedures
