Dialysis RN Job
Location
Lexington, Kentucky
Schedule
- 1st shift
- 4x9s, 6:30a–4p
- Evening call once a week
- Every 5th week: call is required twice that week
- Sunday 24-hour call every 5th week
- Double call and Sunday call are not on the same week unless requested
Contract Length
14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- 1 year of dialysis experience
- Dialysis experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience
- BSN
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination
- Performs comprehensive assessments and ongoing reassessment
- Delegates and oversees team members in patient care activities
- Participates in quality improvement activities and core measures
- Uses a holistic, evidence-based approach to nursing care
