Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Overview
- Location: Normal, Illinois
- Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
- Collect case history and integrate information from patients, families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals
- Select and administer appropriate evaluation procedures and assessment methods
- Develop and implement a plan of care with measurable goals
- Collaborate with patients and relevant others in planning and treatment
- Interpret assessment information to develop treatment plans and intervention recommendations
- Implement and modify intervention plans to support patient needs
- Use standardized outcome measures and instrumental evaluations
- Complete documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards
- Provide education and family training as needed
- Communicate patient status and recommendations with the medical team
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Illinois
- BLS
