Description
Operating Room RN
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Schedule: First shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate degree in nursing
Preferred
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, rounds, admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
- Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Coordinate care, develop priorities, and support individualized treatment planning
- Delegate appropriately and oversee team members involved in patient care
- Support discharge planning and coordinate with case management as needed
- Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
- Communicate changes in patient condition and collaborate with the care team
