Description
• Active New York Single-State LPN License (NY is not a compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience (required for travel roles)
• At least 1 year of experience in your specialty
• Recent acute care experience within the past 2 years
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Ability to manage independent patient assignments with RN support
• Flexibility to float within scope of practice as needed
Benefits:
• Guaranteed Pay: Paid even if shifts are canceled due to low census (ask recruiter for details)
• Premium Overtime: Earn 2x hourly rate for overtime on travel assignments (exclusions apply)
• Weekly Pay: Consistent weekly compensation

Pros
My recruiter Julie is amazing! She responds and handles what I need fast. The facility (Northoaks ) that I’m at is very travel friendly. I actually hope to renew.
Cons
Units have a lot of travelers. My badge doesn’t work to let me in anywhere but once I emailed the right people they fixed it mostly. Some doctors are rude but that is anywhere. I was floated the first day after the one buddy shift that was given but it wasn’t bad.
