Description
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RRT with ECMO specialization
Experience with pediatric ECMO patients, including stable patients
Experience in charting systems, specifically Epic
Certifications: BLS and RRT obtained prior to start date
Ability to work rotating day/night shifts (day 3x12-hour shifts and night 3x12-hour shifts)
Experience with large volume pediatric and adult ECMO programs focusing on congenital heart disease, diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure
Ability to work in a high-volume, interdisciplinary setting

Units have a lot of travelers. My badge doesn’t work to let me in anywhere but once I emailed the right people they fixed it mostly. Some doctors are rude but that is anywhere. I was floated the first day after the one buddy shift that was given but it wasn’t bad.
