Job Description UnityPoint Health Iowa Business Council This position offers SAME DAY INTERVIEWS! Please prepare qualified candidates to receive a call from a (405) area code. "A Day in The Life" at UnityPoint Health: a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Travelers must be 50 miles from hospital; local candidates NOT accepted. NBO: 16 hrs EMR: EPIC OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum On Call: $9/hr Charge/Precept: $6/hr Billable OT: 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48 2025 Holidays: Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving) Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked. Submission Requirements At least 2 years of previous Med Surg or Stepdown experience required. First time travelers accepted! Will be required to float to ER; traveler must be comfortable doing so. Traveler must be comfortable with an acute patient population (critcal gtts, drips) Must have EPIC experience.
