AUTO OFFER most of the time! Unit Specifics · Number of Beds: 34 · Patient Ratios: 1 to 3-4; stretched ratio of 1:5 (mix of med-surg and PCU) · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Daily availability of a Unit Secretary and consistently between 2-4 Patient Care Technicians each shift. Phlebotomy and Respiratory Therapy available for all shifts. · Type of equipment: Standard · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Three shifts per week with 4 weekend shifts per month. (Saturday/Sunday are considered weekend for Day Shift; Friday/Saturday/Sunday are considered weekends for Night Shift) · Floating policy: When floating is required, Travelers will float first, PRN staff second, and Full Time Core Staff last · Patient Experience requirements: Standard Procedures performed on unit: Chest Tube Insertion, Thoracentesis, Lumbar Puncture Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: ABLS and ACLS
