Description

RN – Tele / ED Hold (CPOD Inpatient Boarders)

Unit: Emergency Department Holding Area (Admitted Tele Patients)
Start Dates: 1/5 or 1/19 (Orientation every other week)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call: None

Patient Ratio: 1:5

Required Experience & Skills:

Tele RN experience

Blood draws and IV starts

Chest tubes

Trachs

CPAP/BiPAP

Blood administration

Telemetry interpretation

Drips: heparin, insulin, cardizem

Additional Requirements:

COVID vaccination required

This is an ED holding area for inpatient telemetry patients.
