Description

Qualifications/Skills:
- Required Certifications: RD through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- State Licensure Requirements: state licensure through the Board of Licensure and Certification
- Minimum year’s experience: 1 yr licesned RD
- Required experience: experience as hospital RD or RDN
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
• Provides quality nutritional care to patients such as the development, implementation, and monitoring of Medical Nutrition Therapy
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition assessments, and clinical documentation
• Experience working with interdisciplinary care teams and EMR systems
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Ability to educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics
• Familiarity with regulatory and documentation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS)
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
