Description

Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery
Facility: Banner - North Colorado Medical Center
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36-hour schedule, 24 hours guaranteed)
Start Date: 24/11/2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Stipend: $412.23
Weekly Taxable Pay: $625.34
Scheduled End Date: 23/02/2026

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Colorado (Must be current and active).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Must be current).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Highly preferred).
  • NRP Certification (Preferred; required for Labor & Delivery).

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in Labor & Delivery nursing, with the ability to handle high-acuity cases.
  • Strong clinical skills in maternity and postpartum care, including fetal monitoring and emergency response.
  • Ability to float to different units within the facility where you are experienced, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Colorado RN license, along with current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience; experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Experience with high-risk obstetric cases, fetal monitoring, and emergency obstetrics procedures is highly advantageous.

Additional Details:

  • Shift Details: Night shift hours, providing an opportunity for a stable overnight schedule.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week, with Banner's policy to cancel only 1 shift per week, offering consistent income stability.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to float to other units within the facility where you have experience is required, supporting staffing needs across departments.
  • Location Flexibility: Will accept your willingness to work in any available units or campuses as specified.
  • Start ASAP – Immediate availability preferred to meet urgent staffing needs.
