Description
Job Title: RN - Cath Lab
Facility: Parkland Health
Shift: 10-hour shifts / 40 hours guaranteed
Start Date: 27/10/2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Scheduled End: 26/01/2026
Certification and License Requirements:
- Valid RN License for the State of Texas (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Preferred but may be required depending on department)
What You Bring:
- Proven experience working as an RN in a Cath Lab or similar cardiovascular setting
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on cardiac procedures and patient care coordination
- Ability to assess patient conditions accurately and develop individualized care plans
- Knowledge of the nursing process, including diagnoses, interventions, and evaluations
- Excellent teamwork and delegation skills, understanding the Texas Nursing Practice Act
- Flexibility to work 10-hour shifts with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a Cath Lab or comparable clinical environment
- Experience with cardiovascular procedures, post-procedure care, and cardiac monitoring
Compensation & Benefits:
- Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility will receive a rate of $84/hour
- Weekly taxable pay of approximately $531.43
- Weekly stipend of $353.84 to support additional expenses
