Facility: MyMichigan Health - Saginaw
Shift: 3x12's - Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM

Certification and License Requirements:
All applicants must hold a current, valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Valid RN License in Michigan (active, unrestricted).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw, a 268-bed full-service hospital recognized for its comprehensive emergency and specialty care. This hospital operates 24/7 emergency services, a Level II trauma center, and a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center, delivering advanced surgical interventions for serious and life-threatening conditions.
As a Travel RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting a patient ratio of approximately 1:4/5 (target) to 1:6. Your expertise will contribute to delivering minimally invasive surgical procedures, advanced imaging, respiratory therapies, and rehabilitative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the PCU, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing patient conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in a Progressive Care Unit, ideally with experience in a Level II trauma or specialty hospital setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a PCU or similar acute care setting.
- Experience working with adult patients requiring complex care management.
