Facility: UW Health University Hospital
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM) / Night 3x12-Hour (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM) – Alternate shifts
Start Date: 05/01/2026
Assignment Length: 13 months (End Date: 06/04/2026)
Weekly Taxable Pay: $2,370.76
Weekly Stipend: $1,330.00

Certifications and Licenses (Required):

• WI Nursing License or Compact State License (must be valid and active)
• BLS & ACLS Certification – American Heart Association only
• Telemetry Experience & Basic Arrhythmia Knowledge
• Ability to pass Telemetry Test prior to start
• Experience with NextStage CVVH Machine
• CVICU Experience – Required
• Preferred: Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity-Adaptive Units
• Epic System Experience – Preferred within the last 12 months

• A minimum of two years of recent acute care experience within the last three years
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac, thoracic, and transplant patient care
• Proficiency in using advanced medical technology such as the CVVH machine and Epic EMR system
• The ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to float to different units within the organization as staffing needs dictate

Additional Details:

• Shifts rotate between day and night, each lasting 12 hours.
• The assigned traveler must reside within 50 miles of the hospital.
• Shifts may be scheduled across multiple units or locations based on staffing needs during the assignment.
