Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to patients in the med-surg unit
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly to ensure optimal health outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following prescribed protocols
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, demonstrating clinical expertise and professionalism

What You Bring:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related acute care setting
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent med-surg nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus

Certifications & Licenses:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice (_required)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification (_required)
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous but not mandatory
