Facility: CHI Health St Francis
Shift: 12-Hour Days

Position Overview:
Join a reputable healthcare system in Nebraska/Iowa as a critical member of their Progressive Care Unit (PCU). We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses with at least 1 year of recent unit experience to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients. This opportunity guarantees 36 hours per week, offering stability and career growth in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care within the PCU, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing patient needs with precision.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to respond to patient needs promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid RN License in Nebraska or Iowa
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in a hospital unit, preferably in a PCU or similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- A commitment to providing compassionate, quality patient care.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Prior experience in a community or academic hospital setting.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
