Job Title: RN - ICU
Facility: St Mary Medical Center Long Beach
Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, Every Other Weekend (EOW), First to Float
Start Date: December 1, 2026
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (until April 13, 2026)

Certifications & Licenses Required:

• CA Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) (_valid and active)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) (Active & Current)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (Active & Current)

Note: All licenses and certifications must be maintained and in good standing throughout the assignment.

Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at St Mary Medical Center Long Beach as an ICU RN and provide critical care to your patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This travel opportunity is perfect for experienced nurses looking to expand their skills and make an impact. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, managing ventilators, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Flexibility in floating duties and EOW availability will be essential to meet the needs of the unit.

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting, demonstrating proficiency in acute patient care and critical monitoring.
• Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, IV therapy, and complex patient assessments.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and work effectively within diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing compassionate care.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center is a plus.
• Prior experience working in a travel or float pool setting is advantageous.
