Description

Short Description:
SMH Level 3 RN Endo/GI

Schedule: M-F 8am -8pm; on call required for overnights and weekends
5, 8hr shifts OR 4, 10hr shifts

Complete Description:
Job Duties
-Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns.
-Observing patient vital signs.
-Sedating patients before procedures.
-Recovering patients after procedures.
-Administering the necessary medication to patients.
-Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
-Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure.
-Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.
-Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure.
-Administering IV drips.

Requirements:
NY license ONLY
BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
2 years previous experience
Telemetry Experience Required

Skills:
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move NYS RN License Required 2 years of Endo/GI experience Highly desired 2 Years BLS Required
