A well known nursing home located in New York is currently looking for CNA's. Part time and per diem positions available with 3-4 shift minimums.
CNA's with less than a year of experience are welcomed. All shifts available! Very competitive pay rates!
Responsibilities:
• Carries out routine nursing tasks as assigned by the Nurse
• Provides direct quality resident care as specified in the resident care profile
• Measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs
• Serving meals to residents and helping to feed them as needed
• Monitoring the conditions of residents during your shift, reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
• Supporting residents with other activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
Requirements:
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State.
• 6 months to 1 year prior experience in long term care preferred
• Demonstrates a caring and compassionate attitude towards the elderly
• Computer skills required
