CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (PER DIEM)
Hourly Rate: $22 - $25
Location: New Jewish Home, Manhattan - Onsite (120 W 106th St New York New York 10025)
Position Summary:
As a CNA, you are an integral player in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities revolve around ensuring the well-being of your clients, helping them maintain their independence, and promoting a safe and supportive environment. These are for full time and per diem positions.
Schedule /Shift
• Carries out routine nursing tasks as assigned by the Nurse
• Provides direct quality resident care as specified in the resident care profile
• Measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs
• Serving meals to residents and helping to feed them as needed
• Monitoring the conditions of residents during your shift, reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
• Supporting residents with other activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
Requirements:
Education
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
• Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State.
Experiences Needed
• 6 months to 1 year prior experience in long term care preferred
