Position Summary
Physical Therapists are needed at a pediatric clinic based in Brooklyn, New York. Opportunities include full-time and part-time schedules. The Physical Therapist will support school-aged students in a clinic setting, focusing on improving strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and gross motor development. Develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to help children achieve greater functional independence.

• Shift details: Monday–Friday, Sundays ongoing
• Hours per week: 20-30 hours
• Contract length: Ongoing

• Key Duties:

• Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and gross motor skills.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support functional and developmental goals.

Requirements

• Education

• Required: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Active New York Physical Therapist license and registration
• NYC DOE fingerprints

Skills:

• Pediatric physical therapy and developmental assessment
• Gross motor development, strength, balance, and mobility interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
