Compensation Range: $43-50/hour
Location: Columbia, SC; Onsite – School Setting
RCM is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time assignment working with our client in Columbia, South Carolina!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Part-time Occupational Therapist for the 26-27 school year. Please consider that this OT would be the only OT for the school community caseload and should be comfortable working independently.
- Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives in collaboration with the IEP team.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs.
- Develop Response to Intervention (RTI) plans and provide services as outlined in plans.
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual-motor integration, self-care, and organizational skills.
- Adapt and modify the learning environment and educational materials to support student access and participation.
- Provide training, resources, and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation including evaluation reports, progress notes, service logs, and Medicaid billing records (if applicable).
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and other collaborative planning efforts.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education and therapy services.
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and professional licensure requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Designee.

- Hours per week: 8 hours per week
- Contract length: School Year
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina.
- Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and relevant educational laws and procedures
- Flexible 8-hour / week schedule
- Paid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state laws
