Physical Therapist
 
Compensation Range: $54/hour - $62/hour
Location: Troy, NY
 
Position Summary
A Physical Therapist is needed to support a child who lives in the Troy, NY area through 30 minute sessions conducted in the family home. The PT would be compensated for 60 minutes of work for these 30 minute sessions. The student is elementary school aged. Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift:

• Shift details: 30 minutes each - Flexible (can be evening or weekends)
• Hours per week: 6 hours per week
• Contract length: October 26, 2026 to June 25, 2027

  Key Duties

• Deliver in-person PT services, focusing on supporting and empowering a student who has been in the home and has been unable to attend school in-person.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plan.

  Requirements
Licenses & Certifications

• Must hold an active New York Physical Therapist license

  Experience:

• Previous experience in school settings or working with children is preferred.

  Skills:

• Effective communication abilities for working with students, educators, and families.
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to interact with staff and the public is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work as a team member at all times
• Ability to perform all duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
