Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs full range of Radiology procedures including but not limited to portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies, and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment. Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting. Responsible for confirming order/correct patient/correct exam and entering exam in Meditech. Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonable achievable. Responsible for confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing/QA and releasing image and assuring all "Stat" procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)
• Certificate, or Associate Degree in accredited school of Radiology Technology
