Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med/Surg unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by performing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. You will ensure accurate documentation, maintain patient safety, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, and a commitment to patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)

Additional Information:
• The RN will perform or assist with therapies such as IV access, injections, and central line management.
• Competency in unit procedures and equipment, including chest tube management, PCA machines, and thrombolytic therapy, is required.
