Description

Maternal Fetal Medical Sonographer

Job Summary
Performs a variety of perinatal ultrasound procedures that utilize high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease in utero.

Required Qualifications
• Two years of MFM perinatal scanning experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position.

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Required Certifications & Licensure
• AHA BLS.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)-Sonography (S) OR ARDMS-Fetal Echocardiography (FE).

Preferred Certifications & Licensure
• NT certification.

Required Education
• Associate’s Degree.
