Job Title: RN-Oncology-Outpatient

Location: Elizabethtown, KY

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, creating a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to make clinical decisions, coordinates and provides direct patient care, facilitates admissions, transfers, and discharges, and ensures patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:
- No prior experience required.
- Accepts responsibility for actions, attitude, and results while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
- Practices effective, clear, and respectful communication (verbal and written) with active listening and engaged body language.
- Collaborates and cooperates with co-workers, valuing differences and addressing concerns directly.

- Demonstrates understanding of computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with other care team members.
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous nursing experience.

Required Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Preferred Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.

- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration Provider Card
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
