Job Title: MRI Tech
Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Job Summary:
Provides health care services applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Participates in an on-call schedule as required. Performs magnetic resonance procedures, computer processing, and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate patient care and ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Required Qualifications:
• Five (5) years of experience
• One (1) year of mammography diagnostic experience
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Outstanding eye-hand coordination
• Ability to operate all the equipment related to the job
• Attention to detail
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must maintain continuing education hours required by licensing agency
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
• Accepts responsibility for words, actions, attitude, and results while meeting deadlines and performance expectations
• Practices effective, clear, and respectful communications (both verbal and written) and demonstrates attentiveness through active listening and engaged body language

Required Education:
• Associate's degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiology Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• BLS
• ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Certification
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) - MR License
