Job Title: Radiology Tech

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Job Summary:
Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing, and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate patient care and ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Required Qualifications:
- Less than one (1) year of experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Outstanding eye-hand coordination
- Ability to operate all equipment related to the job
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must maintain continuing education hours required by the licensing agency
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Required Education:
- Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS
- Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry in Radiography RT(R)
- Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Radiation License with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
