Description

PCU (Progressive Care Unit) RN | $54 hourly | 36 hours/week
We are seeking an experienced PCU RN who will work in a fast-paced, high-acuity, and diverse safety-net environment.
Job Details:
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30303
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12's
36 Guaranteed Hours
Requirements:
2+ years PCU RN experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Active GA RN License
Experience with cardiac patient population
Unit Details
Unit: 28-bed PCU/IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit)
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3–4
Patient Types / Diagnoses
Experience expected with:
STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
NSTEMI (Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
CTS (Cardiothoracic surgery patients)
C/P (Chest pain)
Required Medication Drips
Familiarity with cardiac/vasoactive drips, including:
Milrinone
Dobutamine
Pressors (e.g., norepinephrine, dopamine, etc.)
