Description

Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse | $58.50 Hourly | 36 hours/week
We’re seeking an experienced Neuro Stepdown RN with strong progressive care experience. Ideal candidates are confident managing high-acuity neuro patients, detail-oriented with NIHSS and ACLS protocols, and able to integrate seamlessly into a collaborative neuro stepdown team.
Job Details:
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30303
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12, weekends required
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Neuro Stepdown or Progressive Care RN experience
• NIHSS Certification REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification required
• EPIC experience required
• RN license in Georgia or Compact
• No gaps in work history greater than 60 days
Clinical Experience Required:
• Care of neuro stepdown patients (stroke, post-tPA, seizures, ICP monitoring)
• Assessment and management using NIHSS protocols
Preferred Experience:
• Strong Med/Surg background with stepdown exposure
• Experience with telemetry, central lines, and patient education for neuro diagnoses
