Travel Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care | $2412 weekly (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36hours/week
Job Details:
Location: Utica, NY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM OR 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Floating: Required
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Unit Size: 64 beds (15 Neuro-designated)
Patient Population: Adults, ages 18+
Common Diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, Post-Op CV Stepdown
Specialty Equipment: Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo
Vent Support: Chronic ventilators (RT assistance required)
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to adult IMCU patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.
Monitor and manage complex patients using specialty equipment (temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo, chronic vents).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, including RT, physicians, and other nursing staff.
Float as needed within the unit and assist with patient care across all IMCU beds.
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR and maintain compliance with all protocols and certifications.
Required:
Travel experience required
Valid driver’s license with current address matching demographics
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Active NY RN license
EPIC EMR experience required
