Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab | $76/hour | 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab to provide high-acuity cardiovascular and critical care services in a fast-paced, advanced cardiac care environment. The RN - Cardiac Cath Lab will manage complex post-operative and medically fragile cardiac patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:
Location: Concord, CA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care in a CVICU setting
Perform continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
Manage and titrate vasoactive drips and cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella)
Provide post-operative cardiac and vascular surgical care
Collaborate with physicians, cath lab, and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
Float to other units as needed within the same scope of practice
Adhere to California state-mandated nurse-to-patient ratios (1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity)

Required Qualifications
Active California RN License (must be current at time of submission)
Minimum 2+ years of CVICU experience
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Experience with high-acuity cardiac and post-surgical patients

Preferred Qualifications
CCRN certification
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience using Epic EMR
