Description

Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown| $2304 weekly (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Stepdown RN to support a progressive care / telemetry unit caring for post-cardiac and medically complex patients.

Job Details:
Location: Mason City, IA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Every third weekend required)

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to cardiac stepdown / PCU patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Manage patients post-cardiac procedures and interventions
Administer cardiac and vasoactive medications per protocol
Collaborate with cardiology, interdisciplinary teams, and support services
Educate patients and families on cardiac care and recovery
Document patient care accurately per facility standards

Required Qualifications
Recent Cardiac Stepdown / PCU / Telemetry RN experience
Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
Ability to work day shifts and rotating weekends
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC (Optional)
