Description
Travel Registered Nurse – ICU| $2808 weekly (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) |36 hours/week
Seeking an experienced ICU RN for a large, high-acuity critical care unit. Heart/CTICU experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized by the manager. Charge nurse experience is strongly preferred.

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Unit Details
Total Beds: 42
Neuro/Med ICU: 22 beds
CTICU: 6 beds
Surgical/Trauma ICU: 14 beds
Common Diagnoses
Neuro/Med ICU: Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro interventions (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
CTICU: CV surgery, Cardiogenic shock, AAA
Surgical/Trauma ICU: Trauma, major post-operative surgical cases
Specialty Equipment
IABP
CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage required)
Ventriculostomy
ICP monitoring
TTM / Arctic Sun
Requirements
2+ years recent ICU experience in one or more of the following:
ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, Neuro ICU
Charge nurse experience – preferred
Heart / CTICU experience – highly preferred
CRRT & Prismaflex experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Active NY RN license + NURSYS verification of all active licenses
Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
