Travel Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical | $3240 weekly (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) |48 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Cardiology / Med Surg Telemetry unit. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical interventions in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Job Details:
Location: Hartford, CT
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extensions
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Radius Rule: 50 miles
Travel required outside 50 miles
Locals accepted (local rate applies for candidates within 50 miles)

Requirements
Active RN license
Required Certifications:
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience preferred
Experience in cardiac or medical cardiology setting preferred
Strong telemetry interpretation and acute care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
