Surgical Technologist| $44 hourly|40 hours/week

The OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) assists surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team during operative procedures in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma environment. This role requires strong surgical skills, excellent sterile technique, and the ability to adapt quickly during high-acuity cases.

Job Details:
Location: Atlanta, GA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extensions
Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Weekend and holiday rotation required
On-call requirements included
No block scheduling

Requirements
Active CST certification required
Previous travel experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Strong skills competency with high ratings on skills checklist
Burn experience preferred
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years recent OR experience preferred

Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field
Set up operating room with appropriate instruments and supplies
Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
Ensure proper instrument, sponge, and needle counts
Handle trauma and emergency surgical cases efficiently
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
Assist with room turnover and post-procedure clean-up
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
