Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Acute Care | $2360 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 Hours

Job Details:
Location: Cumming, GA Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (4 weekends per 4 weeks preferred)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

No LOCAL candidates within 50 miles

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience within specialty
Active licensure (as required by state)
BLS (if required by facility)

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior acute care hospital experience
Experience with MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) and/or FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) – preferred but not required

Unit Overview:

This is an Acute Care SLP Department position supporting physician-ordered evaluations and treatments throughout the hospital. The SLP will work with a wide range of medical and surgical patient populations, including:

ICU patients
Stroke and neurological cases
Dysphagia management
Respiratory compromise
Cognitive and communication deficits

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing medically complex patients in a fast-paced hospital setting and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
