Description

Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist | $81 | 40hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a busy IR department in a mid-to-large facility. The ideal candidate will be confident functioning independently, with strong experience scrubbing and circulating across a wide range of interventional procedures.

Schedule & Shift
Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
40 hours per week
4x10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)
Flexible day off; must be available every Wednesday

On-Call Requirements
Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities
Perform scrub and circulator duties for interventional radiology procedures
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety and sterile protocols
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience in a mid-to-large facility
Ability to function independently
Experience scrubbing and circulating required
Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
Current ARRT (R) registration
BLS certification required

Required Clinical Experience
A-grams and AV fistulograms
Ports, PICC lines, and hemodialysis catheters
Kyphoplasty
Biopsies (Ultrasound- and CT-guided)
Drainage procedures (paracentesis and thoracentesis)
Lumbar punctures and myelograms
Steroid injections (joint and spine)
IVC filter placement and removal
Baker’s cyst aspirations
