Description
Travel NICU RN | $67 | 36hour/week
$2625/week (stipend package option available to help maximize take-home pay)
36 hours/week | 13-Week Contract
Location: Utica, NY
Shift: 3x12s Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Travel Requirement: 75-mile radius rule I Accepting Local candidates
Licensure & Certifications
Active RN License (state license required at submission)
BLS & NRP – required at time of submission
PALS & STABLE – required prior to start
If not held at submission, candidate must be willing to obtain prior to start (note on cover page)
Unit Details
NICU Beds: 8–13 private rooms
Additional beds available in open bay overflow
RN Ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
Charting System: Epic (required)
Role Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and treatment
Perform continuous assessment of neonatal conditions and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications, IV fluids, TPN, and blood products per protocol
Operate and monitor neonatal equipment including ventilators and incubators
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate and support families throughout the neonatal care journey
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
Floating Expectations
May float to:
Mother-Baby (MB)
Pediatrics
Other adult units as helping hands only (outside primary scope)

Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, emotionally sensitive environments
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
